A raw and real fostering campaign featuring a Care Leaver.
Peterborough City Council's pressing need to recruit foster carers for teenagers they care for was an urgent challenge that deserved an authentic voice. There was no better way to bring this message to life than through a local Care Leaver sharing their unscripted fostering journey. That's when we met Jack.
Fostering Films
Capturing the before, during, and after.
Jack's story s as inspiring as it is honest. To do it justice, we produced a series of films capturing his experiences - from entering foster care to the young adult her has become. Each film captures Jack's resilience and the profound impact of the foster carers who welcomed him in. We led the creative process from storyboarding and art direction through to the final edit, creating three core films and short-form pieces optimised for multi-channel use.

A hyper-targeted approach driving record-breaking results.
The campaign was shared across highly targeted digital and offline channels, achieving record engagement and conversion rates for the council’s fostering service. By putting a real young person front and centre, we inspired people to ask themselves if they too could make a difference to teenagers in their community.

Ensuring Jack’s story was seen and heard throughout Peterborough was essential. Through an integrated mix of radio, press, and local news, we amplified his message across the city, helping the campaign spark conversations and action far beyond its initial reach.
