Project overview

Expanding horizons - Kingship’s journey into Europe’s luxury waters.

Kingship Marine, a renowned superyacht builder based in Hong Kong, approached the European market with a bold ambition, to establish a stronger presence among high-net-worth audiences across Europe.

With over two decades of marine industry expertise, Kingship sought to elevate its reputation through design excellence, brand refinement, and targeted marketing.

Working alongside Barracuda Yacht Design in Spain and Broad Reach Communications in the UK, White Space Agency was invited to deliver a cohesive creative and strategic solution. The collaborative objective was clear - to position Kingship Marine as a serious contender within the luxury European superyacht market and prepare for a high-impact presence at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

In collaboration with:

Collaborative Approach

A trio united by creative excellence.

This project brought together three highly specialised agencies with complementary skills, Barracuda Yacht Design for naval architecture, Broad Reach Communications for international marine PR, and White Space Agency for brand and marketing strategy. Each partner played a vital role in bringing Kingship’s European expansion to life.

Our long-standing relationship with Broad Reach, forged through previous superyacht collaborations, ensured smooth integration and shared creative vision. The collaboration aimed not only to launch Kingship’s latest superyacht models but also to build a narrative of excellence, craftsmanship and aspiration.

Together, we shaped an integrated campaign that aligned brand, design, media and customer engagement under one unified story.

Brand Evolution

Redefining Kingship for a global audience.

We began by assessing Kingship’s existing brand identity, identifying opportunities to modernise while retaining the integrity of the original design. The existing logo carried recognition and heritage, but it lacked the refinement expected within Europe’s luxury marine market.

We developed a more sophisticated evolution of the brand mark, one that remained authentic but introduced balance, proportion, and precision. The refreshed aesthetic embodied the spirit of timeless craftsmanship while signalling a confident step into the global arena.

Complementing the new identity, we curated a reduced and luxurious colour palette of deep navy and soft gold, representing ocean depth and understated opulence, a visual language perfectly suited to Kingship’s ambitious new direction.

Luxury Collateral

Crafting collateral worth holding onto.

In preparation for Cannes, we designed a complete suite of marketing materials that embodied exclusivity and clarity. Business cards were meticulously produced using 810gsm triplex uncoated stock, finished with a blue seam that subtly reinforced the brand palette. The design was minimalist and refined - a tactile reminder of Kingship’s craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Alongside this, we created two elegant brochures showcasing the KingCat 90 and Kingship 88 Superyachts. Printed on 350gsm uncoated board, each folded four-page piece provided the perfect balance of information and allure, striking cover imagery, concise technical details, and clean layout ensured the reader’s focus remained on the vessel’s beauty. These materials weren’t just handouts; they were statements of quality, designed to be kept and remembered long after the event.

Show Stand Experience

Capturing attention using immersive design at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

At the Cannes Yachting Festival, first impressions matter. We collaborated with Barracuda Yacht Design to create a show stand that was not only visually captivating but strategically designed to invite engagement. The space featured a series of illuminated panels displaying Kingship’s yachts in breathtaking clarity. Each layout is consistent with the visual language of the brochures.

These large-scale visuals told a story of craftsmanship, innovation, and lifestyle aspiration, while the overall stand environment conveyed warmth and exclusivity.

We understood that luxury buyers are drawn to spaces that feel curated and personal, so every detail, from composition and lighting to information flow, was designed to encourage conversation, curiosity, and trust. The result was a stand that commanded attention and delivered results.

Immersive Visuals & Video

Selling the dream by bringing yachting to life through film, photography, and CGI imagery.

To truly capture the imagination of potential buyers, we produced a suite of cinematic promotional videos for each Kingship vessel.

Working closely with Barracuda Yacht Design, we combined highly detailed CGI renderings with lifestyle footage from our marine library to evoke the emotion of life aboard a Kingship yacht. Each video balanced atmosphere with detail, pairing sweeping exterior shots with refined interior sequences that highlighted craftsmanship and design innovation.

These films were used across multiple platforms, from display screens at Cannes to digital and social channels, reinforcing the “selling the dream” narrative.

The result was a seamless integration of imagery, motion, and sound that elevated Kingship’s storytelling to new levels of sophistication and desirability.

Digital Showcase

A digital home for a global luxury boat brand.

Every luxury brand deserves a digital home that matches its ambition. Through our signature discovery process, we worked closely with Kingship to understand their goals, audience, and brand personality before moving into the design and development phase.

Using Figma, we mapped out a clean, intuitive user experience and developed a modern interface that balanced visual impact with functional clarity. High-resolution imagery, elegant typography, and subtle animation combined to create an immersive online experience that mirrored the sophistication of the yachts themselves. The website was optimised for conversion and engagement, ensuring that visitors were both informed and inspired. From desktop to mobile, every element was designed to reflect Kingship’s attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

"I was so pleased with how Paul and Rob at White Space Agency were quickly able to create an entirely new website presence and brand collateral for our Hong Kong based marine PR client, Kingship Marine, who gave us a very tight 6-week turnaround deadline to prepare for a major public showing at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival in September. The new website and marketing collateral, including hand-out brochures and floor-to-ceiling back-lit wall graphics, were of the highest quality design and Paul’s further improvements to Kingship’s branding and company logo helped lift the overall image of this Chinese company, enabling them to compete on a shoulder to shoulder basis with highly established European shipyards in boat and superyacht manufacturing."

The Result

Measuring success by turning our creative vision into commercial momentum.

The combined impact of brand refinement, marketing materials, PR coordination, and show presence delivered outstanding results at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

Over six days, the Kingship stand attracted a consistent flow of high-quality visitors, generating more than 150 interactions with potential clients and serious prospects. The KingCat 90, in particular, captured strong market interest, aligning with growing demand for luxury power catamarans.

The collaboration between us at White Space Agency with Broad Reach Communications and Barracuda Yacht Design not only achieved the project’s commercial objectives but also repositioned Kingship Marine as a brand synonymous with contemporary luxury, innovation, and global appeal. The success at Cannes stands as testament to the power of creative partnership and strategic design thinking.
