Devon County Council’s Fostering Team wanted to create a marketing campaign that prospects would relate to, feel enthused by, informed as to why fostering a child is a great thing to do and ultimately engage with Fostering in Devon to become a foster carer.
Multi-media Marketing Campaigns

Using a consistent multi-media approach ensured we reached the largest and most relevant audience possible within the agreed budget. This included outdoor advertising, targeted door-drops, TV, paid and organic social media, PPC, PR and web.
Animated Marketing Campaigns
Harnessing the voices of children to create impactful standout animations.
Utilising a bold illustrative approach proved the most effective means to capture the emotions of children in foster care while safeguarding their identity. The campaign resulted in a 156% surge in website traffic and a 269% increase in organic search, evidencing the powerful impact that standout creativity, coupled with a strategic marketing strategy, can make.

A fundamental benefit of fostering with Devon County Council is that you are supported by a comprehensive team, whereby the child is at the centre of everything they do. Capturing this team through face-to-camera films enabled us to communicate the support on offer and the service’s dedication to the target audience in a personable light.
TV & Digital Advertising

The pandemic made the recruitment space more competitive than ever before. Marketing strategies needed to adapt fast and consider new ways to attract and engage audiences. We embraced the challenge by highlighting the parallel between fostering as a vocation and a career opportunity, for a TV and social campaign.

We attained record-breaking results across all channels, securing 1,000 direct enquiries within the first 12 months, resulting in over 40 new foster carers—the highest achievement to date. But there's more. We proudly met foster carer recruitment targets for six consecutive years.
